Paul Ponting the self-proclaimed Ormskirk Vigilante was sentenced this month for a section 4 public disorder against a 16-year-old child. The sentence sadly seems very lenient considering Mr Pontings actions and we have been told the sentence will be appealed as his victim’s ordeal continues.
Mr Ponting who owns Danoli Solutions LTD, the computer repair shop in Ormskirk was given a 12-month conditional discharge by Preston magistrates. From what we can gather Mr Ponting who is no stranger to the courts was accompanied by a top-class solicitor who helped secure a favourable deal for Mr Ponting.
Sadly, the youth’s ordeal did not end there and Mr Ponting and his family have been resorting to social media making slanderous allegations against the family and the child. Mr Pontings mother, Brenda Ponting even made a public post saying that the 16 year old child was a drug dealer! The youths family were made aware of this, screenshots have been made for evidence and the Police were notified.
The post has now been removed from Mr Pontings mother but once again his victims have had to suffer from online abuse by Mr Ponting and now his family.
Hopefully this will help in securing a tougher sentence in the future for Mr Ponting.
